Self-Help for the Elderly's 29th Annual Longevity Walkathon is just around the corner! Starting at 10:00AM on October 3rd, participants will be walking around Portsmouth Square on Kearny Street, between Washington and Clay Street, to raise money in support of funding for senior services.
Tai Chi trainer LaNay Eastman, who is currently teaching at Manilatown Senior Center, has graciously volunteered to lead a Tai Chi workshop/demonstration at the Walkathon. LaNay is a fantastic trainer, and is much appreciated for her diligence and care with our participants.
Come join us and support her! It'll be a walk in the park ;)
